Celebration of Dance is an annual concert with a mission!

Celebration of Dance concert series was exclusively created and launched in observance of National Dance Week. National Dance Week is an annual occurance observed during the last week of April; "a nationwide campaign to bring visibility and recognition to dance-arts in our communities." Each year over 5000 plus events and activities are held throughout the United States as part of this nationwide campaign and Celebration of Dance is Arizona's contribution to this campaign. 

Celebration of Dance is an exciting and diverse display of dance expression for the benefit of our dance community. It is presented as an educational, artistic, as well as an entertainment for the public's enjoyment. Each year the dance community is invited to submit their work to perform in Celebration of Dance. A wide-range of dance styles are selected by a committee consisting of industry dance professionals. The result, a true Celebration of Dance!

Celebration of Dance is produced by Golden Lion Productions, Inc., a non-profit (501 c3) volunteer organization serving the community with creative and educational opportunities. Golden Lion Productions was founded by professional dance teacher-choreographer Helena Saraydarian who is also the creator, executive producer, and director of Celebration of Dance and holds the title as Arizona's delegate for National Dance Week.
