This year marks the 13th year of Celebration of Dance! For the past 12 years Celebration of Dance has been a concert with a mission as part of the National Dance Week's campaign held during the last week of April each year: "to promote dance by bringing nationwide recognition and visibility to dance-arts." 

...and Celebration of Dance is Arizona's contribution to this nationwide campaign. In addition, Celebration of Dance and it's mission has also expanded beyond National Dance Week in April, it has also gone into the months of May and June as our commitment to continue to promote dance throughout the year by showcasing Arizona's dance artists and their work...look for a concert possibly in the Fall as well... 

Celebration of Dance provides opportunities to Arizona's dance community to showcase their creative works; also gives professional companies and new emerging artists to be seen and recognized. These concerts also provide performance opportunities to young dancers and dancers of all ages. Celebration of Dance is professionally produced and presented by Golden Lion Productions and held at various prestigious theaters around town. For the past twelve years performances have been held at locations such as: Herberger Theatre Center, Scottsdale Performing Center of Performing Arts, Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center, and at Phoenix Theatre.

Annual Auditions:
Auditions for performers are held each year during the first or second Saturday/Sunday of March. The dance community is invited to submit their work for consideration to perform in this exciting annual event by live auditions or video entry. Performers, email us for details:

-Open to all dancers and dance companies who wish to submit and showcase your work. 

-Audition either by video or by presenting dances live during the annual auditions. 

-All dance styles considered. 

-Open to advance level dancers/students & professionals. 

-All ages: teens and up to all age adults

-Also looking for amazing young dancers age five-twelve.
