About us
Golden Lion Productions, Inc. (Arizona) officially gained its title when it became a non-profit organization in 2003. It was originally formed as a small group in the fall of 1999 by Helena Saraydarian (teacher-producer-choreographer) to help with the production of the first Celebration of Dance concert to be launched in the following year. When it was first formed the group was named AZ Dance Production Team and consisted of four industry professionals lead by Helena Saraydarian, with (Director/Choreographer) Dee Dee Wood, (Dancer/Actress) Gina Tleel, (dancer/teacher/choreographer) Abby Stewart-Reinoso, and a handful of wonderful volunteers.
The first Celebration of Dance concert was successfuly launched on April 25, 2000 at the historical Phoenix Theater to an enthusiastic and supportive audiance. In April 2009 marked the 10th anniversary of these concert series!
For the past eleven years Golden Lion Productions, Inc. has been presenting various events for the benefit of the local community.
